How it works
- Measure the window, door or railing you want to light. 2 m (6 ft 7 in) or 3 m (9 ft 10 in)?
- Hang the top wire on the included hooks; the strands drop down by themselves.
- Pick a scene in the app or with the remote, set the timer, and you are done.

What are curtain lights?
Curtain lights are a top wire with many thin strands of LEDs hanging down, so one set covers a whole window, wall or balcony railing with light. Plain sets glow or twinkle; pixel (animated) sets control every LED and can show pictures and text.
What size curtain lights do I need?
Measure the width you want to cover and pick the closest size without going over. Lumalyn’s pixel curtain comes in 2 × 2 m (6 ft 7 in) for windows and short railings, and 3 × 3 m (9 ft 10 in) for wide railings and patio doors.
Can curtain lights go outside?
Only if they are rated for it. IP44 sets suit covered balconies, porches and windows; spots that take direct rain need IP65 or higher. Keep plugs and adapters dry.
Do animated curtain lights need Wi-Fi?
Not always. The Lumalyn curtain uses a Bluetooth app plus a remote, so there is no Wi-Fi or router setup; you control it from nearby.
Are curtain lights only for Christmas?
No. Warm-white curtains work all year in bedrooms and windows, and pixel curtains switch between Christmas scenes, other holiday themes, party colors and calm ambient light.
